CLIC, in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Services, are planning a series of Lunch and Learns. These are 30 minute, virtual, informal sessions that take place at lunchtime - while you take a break and eat, you can listen to our invited speaker give a short talk sharing their experience of improvement work. The session is then open to anyone who has questions or reflections to offer.
Join us for this Lunch and Learn to hear from Anna Foster (Trust Lead for Strategy and Sustainability, CNTW) on 'We need to talk about climate change…'
The best thing you can do in your workplace to fight climate change is to talk about it.
In this short presentation, Anna will describe the series of ‘climate conversations’ held earlier this year at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust to raise awareness of sustainable healthcare and their Green Plan, empowering colleagues to raise these issues within their own teams.
About our speaker...
Anna has worked in NHS leadership roles for 25 years, and is currently recovering from a year working in the Trust’s Gold Command COVID-19 incident response team by leading on the development of the next Trust-wide Strategy.
As Trust lead for Strategy and Sustainability, Anna aims to embed compassionate leadership, social justice and sustainable healthcare principles into everything that CNTW does so that in the future, she can look her child in the eye and tell them that she did all that she could to tackle climate and ecological change.
