Virtual Workshop #1: Learning from rapid improvement and innovation during COVID-19

A virtual workshop from the Health Foundation's Q Community...

"Due to high demand, we have now reached capacity for this workshop. We will be sharing information and resources following this event and will be running future workshops. If you would like to be kept informed about these and other future opportunities to get involved, please complete the form on the Q website.

Because of COVID-19, rapid service changes are happening across our health and care sector. As an improvement community we understand how important it is to capture the learning that is being generated at pace to enable us to make good decisions now and in the future.

As part of our response to this challenge Q will be supporting people to capture, review and learn from the rapid innovation and improvement driven by the pandemic.

We are launching a series of virtual learning workshops, designed to help identify structured ways to make sense of what is being discovered in this rapidly changing landscape. There will be opportunities to connect and work with others across the UK and Ireland and we’ll draw on expertise in quality improvement and design to support collaborative learning.

We will be holding these workshops every three weeks. In between, we’ll be sharing resources and will continue to help you connect with colleagues working on similar challenges across the UK and Ireland.

Join us for the first workshop, at 13.00 on Thursday 7 May 2020.

During this workshop we will:

  • discuss structured ways to capture learning, with practical guidance and tips that will help you in the immediate term
  • provide a platform for you to share and discuss your challenges and experiences with others
  • shape the content for upcoming workshops"
