Tracey Garbarino has been appointed as a Knowledge Specialist in the Primary Care Training Hub for the North East and North Cumbria.

Tracey’s role is funded by Health Education England (HEE) and she is doing it as a job share alongside Julie Weeks from Northumbria. 

The Knowledge Specialist role includes: 

  • Literature searching: taking the heavy lifting out of evidence searches, saving you time
  • Horizon scanning bulletins: collections of articles, guidance, reports and web resources
  • Supporting people to make the most of HEE tools before, during and after an event
  • Workforce tools: Knowledge retention and transfer toolkit
  • Knowledge Mobilisation self-assessment tool: A tool to help health organisations make better use of external evidence and organisational knowledge
