A Workforce Plan for Cumbria: Thinking out of the box about recruitment, retention and professional development

The Alliance (through CLIC) arranged a workforce planning workshop in May 2014 for workforce and HR specialists, trainers, educators and clinical leaders to support the development of the Cumbria Five Year Plan.


The focus was on how we attract and retain the best people here in Cumbria. We discussed the structure for a long-term workforce plan for Cumbria, and planned some real action to make Cumbria the place to come and work in health and social care.
