All team leaders working in health and care across Cumbria (clinical and non-clinical).
Are you a leader or line manager working in health and care in Cumbria? Do you have staff with underutilised skills and experience, who would benefit from being re-energised in their own development? Perhaps they’ve reached the mid-point in their career, and aren’t sure what’s next?
According to Manpower Group, the impact of having a career conversation with an individual can be huge:
What is a ‘career conversation’?
A career conversation is not a performance review or appraisal – it’s an honest, open discussion between employee and manager which supports the employee in developing their goals and plans.
The session will cover:
In having career conversations with staff, leaders and line managers can begin to understand the work and life challenges individuals face, support their overall wellbeing, and can help to give individuals new purpose and feel a stronger sense of belonging. Staff can feel re-energised and re-engaged, ultimately improving patient/service user care.
The session will take place via Microsoft Teams. The link to access the session will be emailed to registered delegates a few days in advance. Please check your inbox and junk folder before the day of the event.
